As we move towards a paperless society, we need to find a replacement for conventional paper filing systems so we can store information and documents we need in our day to day lives. With much of our information stored on different websites and apps - each with their own login details - SmartOnion simplifies things by enabling you to consolidate everything in one centralised, secure place with one access protocol.
We have set up pre-named vaults that we think you will find useful - bank accounts, pensions, utility providers etc. You are able to input basic account details - but if you want to add more, you can use the 'notes' field; or you can upload a file or a screen shot of any relevant documents.

Only you and nominated users ('Guests') can see your data. Your data is encrypted, securely stored, and compliant with GDPR regulations to ensure your privacy and peace of mind.
We have populated each vault database with all the active service providers we can find. If we have missed yours, you can use the “other” field to capture the details and you can add the name in the 'notes' field. We would be happy to add your service provider to the database - just let us know via the contact button.
Yes. You can set up your own custom vaults. Examples are: 'Car' - lease agreement and terms, insurance policy, latest MOT, service invoices; or 'Holiday Documents' - visas, itinerary, hotel bookings, car hire, plane, train or ferry tickets. You may also wish to upload details of key documents such as your passport, driver's licence, birth and marriage certificates and your Will. You can even create an 'Expression of Wishes' page if this helps you to get your affairs in order.
